Climate Battery Greenhouse Information and Updates

We've recently installed a climate battery greenhouse (high tunnel) at the farm and are excited about the prospects. We're still learning as we go but we thought we'd post about it as we continue to learn more. I've created a page that describes the project, and another where you can see performance updates and data from the project.

If you're interested in inexpensive or low-energy-use means of regulating temperature in a growing structure, this information may be for you! If you've never heard of a climate battery greenhouse I'd encourage you to read on!

I'd greatly value your input to make this information as useful as possible, so leave a comment below if something is confusing, worded poorly, or just plain wrong. Click through below to learn more about the project!

"Exotic" fruits featured on George Weigel's PennLive.com article

We were honored once again to be featured in an article on George Weigel's Pennlive.com gardening section. George wrote about our pawpaws, persimmons, kiwi berries, figs, and other "exotic" fruits grown here at our farm. Check it out below and check out George's Facebook page for more great articles.
